Turbine ventilator works without electricity

Work from home is not a myth anymore after the two years of movement control order, MCO has been lifted. Hybrid working model is proven to be possible! What do i learn from WFH (Work from home) in that two years?

First of all, I have figured a way to enhanced the WiFi signal at home without buying new a router. Telephone line that no longer been used can be converted into LAN line. No more weak WiFi signal around the home now.

Next thing will be sound quality is crucial! Apparently, condenser microphone is directional! The side with the logo is the most sensitive area that should be speak into. Sound mixer is typically useful for online meeting purpose or getting background music playing while telling a story online.

The electricity bill has been skyrocketed during the MCO. It was really warm without Air-conditioner turned-on while WFH. The solution to that for me will be turbine ventilator that i found after MCO. Designed to fit through a glass-roof. Took a month to research and spoke to the contractor who could get it done. A 25 tonne crane was involved in the process of making it happened. An fully Aluminium turbine ventilator 16 inch in diameter that was claimed that will last almost forever. The light weight turbine made using Aluminium helps make the bearing last longer. Warm air is now constantly being exhausted from the ventilator. Strongly recommended for counties that are located around the equator. Countries with four seasons might need a shutter window to prevent warm air from leaving during winter!

Hot air rises, while cold air sink works in modern houses too!

Youtube Short recorded for the process of getting the turbine ventilator over the roof.

Save electricity while work from home

Electricity usage at home for sure has increased by far a lot for many people in the past whole year. It has caught my attention recently when my exhaust fan blower sounds louder than it used to be. The blower has never been serviced since when it was first installed ages ago. No one told me i need to do so. It was a good sign than it reminds me of the types of blower fan available in my house. I first Google and look for guide on how to service the blower. No much guide available for the exactly same model to mine.

It leaves me no choice but to explore it all by myself. Servicing the blower fan blade seems to be an easy task that not many people talked about or at least in my cycle of friends. The whole process took less than half an hour.

The same goes with the exhaust fan in my bathroom. Never thought that it will be so dirty. The same goes with the air-conditioner indoor unit ! There are mould growth all over the interior surface. Clean with soap and then disinfect using hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol content.

All blowers now blowing at maximum speed at pin drop silent. The wind is so strong now!

It certainly helps save electricity for long period of operation. Dusty gathered for sure increase the payload of the electricity motor. Less weight for sure will need less electrical energy to provide a spinning motion to the blower. Help this sharing helps you too.

Using mid-point concept solving a quadratic equation.

In this method, it make use of the sum of root and product of root to find the x value when the y is zero.

Quadratic equations has a symmetry at mid-point between the roots.

The difference before and after the middle point has to be the same!

A standard equation of x^2 - (R1+R2)x + (R1)(R2)= 0  has to be used to obtain the root by the end.

Then the sum of root = R1+ R2 = -b/a

Also, the product of root = (R1)(R2) = c/a

Following ax^2 + bx + c = 0, getting the root by solving the unknown by first getting the midpoint.

Hope this help simplify.

Education Revolution - Remote Learning

Asynchronous learning platform will be helpful especially during this difficult time. A link explain the different different synchronous and asynchronous learning. We need to adapt this remote learning policy despite it was thought to be a sprint initially that end up to be a marathon.
https://thebestschools.org/magazine/synchronous-vs-asynchronous-education/

Hope my viewer will get ready for alternative assessment. Gauging learning outcome is part of the learning journey. I bet no one knows what is the best practise at the moment until we all work together in getting the best approach for alternative assessment to written examination that we all get used to.

Hope my compilation of videos on physics and maths subjects helps!

Pythagoras and Trigonometry Identity

It has been awhile since the secondary series of online video guides. Lets move on to higher secondary content. Video guide on certain topic will be shared as an effort to built up the overall subject content. Video guide uploaded this time will be limited to 10minutes compared to one period duration. This round will be for trigonometry. User are advised to take their own notes while reading the video guide. Hope it helps!

Welcome Back to School 2019

Beginning of April every year marks the starting of an academic year for national school students. Those who are in Form 4 should have their reference book ready at their work desk. Next stage will be to start revising after school using the reference book. There are video guide i made in previous post. Scroll down towards the end for all video guide. Form 5 students will be the time for start practising past paper. There are still time to brush up on topic that is difficult. Watch my youtube guide for free and subscribe to get all videos saved for future referencing.

Hard work and persistent will always gives you results. Leave question in my video and i will try answer it.

Hope i could help!

SPM examination

It has been some time since my last post on this blog.

Students who sit for SPM examination should have an idea of when is their examination. MOE is the best place to look for all important dates.

Those videos which i have made are the best practice that can be used by all students as references. It helps them in term of guidance. It is really important to have someone who has already successfully gone through the content with at least three different students and they all understand the subject and scored an A for their examination. The syllabus could have been changed from time to time. I will update it if i have came across with it.

These videos made are not a solution for not attending school nor a tool to replace actual classroom activities by actual teachers. I can not remember how many times i have stressed it already.

Past paper from SPM is easily available over any bookstore. Let me know if you cant find one near your place. I will try get you one!

Watching all videos without any practice is a waste of time. No one will get good grades without any past paper practice experience.

Physics is an easy subject!

It has been and it will be. Start scoring A for SPM pyhsics.
